CALL US DESPERATE AND CALL HER BAE!
Oh please, don’t act like you aren’t waiting for Call Me Bae!
Me, my team, and you are desperately waiting to sit comfortably, eat brownie, and binge watch on Call Me Bae this weekend and get awestruck by all her outfits! Am I right or am I right?
The fashion game in our movies and series is definitely here for the title of ‘ate and left no crumbs’. Call Me Bae starring Ananya Pandey, produced by Karan Johar, is an upcoming drama series on Amazon Prime and we are here for the fashion part of it (drama, yes, but later). The trailer gave us some major serves and here are our favourites.
Let us get into it, shall we?
Bae (Bella) is in Bombay, just like Emily in Paris. From a typical south Bombay girl-next-door to a hustler girl real quick, this bae is serving looks and so much more.
This cover image has the Mango tweezed blazer and a red net scarf, accessorising the look with statement earrings, diamond-coloured stone hair band and a few gold rings. Timeless and chic dress up that shows where she has come from.
This look has my heart eyes. Mini floral dress from House of CB, embellished with delicate flowers with a stunning cut-out detail on the front that holds that little spice. Coming together with huge earrings that creates drama in this look and the apple/orange shaped bag is screaming, gorgeous and playful. The glistening, soft, lady-like makeup, completes her character.
This outfit was a shocker! It is dramatic, playful, out there, and so much more my fashion thoughts can’t fathom. Here she wears a long coat with newspaper art to show her character as a ‘social media journalist’, paired with a glossy black latex skirt. Adding a pop to the look, she wears a neon bralette and matching neon bag. Vibrant green heels complete this bold look.
The fashion sauce is spicy, tangy, and full of drama in Call Me Bae and everyone’s waiting for it! It’s time to binge watch and join in the life of our Bae (Bella Chawdhury) aka Ananya Pandey and watch her screwing up, living her best life and worst nightmares.
Happy binge-watching!
